Solid Effort Not Enough

           
Friday night’s game was a 32 minute slugfest.  Both teams played a fast-paced, aggressive game on both ends of the floor.  When it was all said and done, Caldwell walked away with a well earned 60-55 win.  The Vikings got huge contributions from sophomores Chris Childress and Glenn Zimmerman.  Ryan White had a break out game with 11 points and Stevie Thompson had 13 points and 6 steals while battling nausea the entire game.  After the game Coach Feaster said, “We fought hard but didn’t get the job done.  We didn’t rebound well, gave up the baseline way too much, and we missed a ton of lay-ups.  Add all that up and it’s hard to win.”

Final Score: Caldwell 60, VCS 55
