Too Little, Too Late…
Final Score: Gospel Light 52, VCS 43

After going 3 for 23 from the floor and scoring only 7 points at half time all the coaching staff could think was, “here we go again”.  Coach Feaster said, “It’s so frustrating knowing that we are so much better than that.”

During half time, Coach Dunn got the guys motivated and the team made some adjustments both offensively and defensively.  The boys caught fire and gave Gospel Light all they could handle.  After the game Coach Feaster summed up the game this way, “Unfortunately we put ourselves in a situation where we had to foul.  Hitting 4 consecutive 3’s is great, but when they hit both of their free throws it makes it tough to come back.  I am proud of them however, for being willing to take responsibility for the mess we put ourselves into and giving everything they had the second half.  We can definitely build off of this.”
