No Thompson…No Win
WBCS 66 VCS 40

For the first time in his VCS career, the Vikings were without leading scorer StevieThompson, whose points and ability take over a game, was sorely missed in their 66-40 loss to Woodland. The boys managed to shoot just 24% from the field and managed just 19 rebounds for the game. A frustrated Coach Feaster put it this way, “Well, what can I say? Not having Stevie obviously hurt us but it’s no excuse! Someone has to step up! And my goodness, if we’re going to shoot just 24% we have to make it a priority to box out! This was a tough one to swallow.” The Vikings now stand at 3-11 for the season with just 6 games left in the regular season.
Team Leaders:
Points: Bryant Gordon, Tyler Biggs = 14
Assists: Chris Childress = 3
Rebounds: Riley Kurtz = 6
Steals: Tyler Biggs = 5
Blocks: Ryan White = 1
